Rancho Mirage Country Club is a gate guarded community situated on spacious
grounds at the intersection of Bob Hope and Frank Sinatra Drives in Rancho
Mirage. It comprises 266 California Mediterranean style homes on an 18 hole
championship Golf course designed by Harold Heers. The golf club and course are
privately owned and operated. The 34,000 square feet clubhouse offers banquet
facilities for private parties, bar and lounge, dining areas, pro shop and
locker rooms, exercise room, four lighted tennis courts and pool and spa.
The construction of the homes at Rancho Mirage CC has been the
responsibility of two developers. The first phase of 116 homes was built by
Woodhaven, starting in 1984. Century Crowell carried out the second phase of 150
homes, which is near completion. Homes range in size from approximately 1,750
square feet to 3,500 square feet. Prices range from $220,000 to $430,000. The
homes are located on a single street encircling the golf course. All homes have
private yards and most have their own individual pool and spa.
The community is a planned unit development. The Homeowner Association is
responsible for the maintenance of the roofs, the exterior surfaces of the
buildings, front yard landscaping, 4 community pools and spas, streets and
guardhouse.
The Association’s Board of Directors maintains an aggressively proactive
policy towards its maintenance responsibilities. It is highly conscious of the
benefits of a well organized preventive maintenance program, particularly in
respect of the project’s roofs. Every year the Association contracts to
replace roof tiles broken by errant golf balls. Within the next year it will
also contract to coat the foamed portions of the roofs. The Board is also
conscious of the benefits of maintaining maximum "curb appeal" for the
units. This accounts for meticulous landscape maintenance and the spectacular
display of flowers at this community year round.
Quality Management of the Desert, whose owner Martha Osborne has personal
responsibility for Rancho Mirage Country Club, assists the Board in its duties.
Martha’s management philosophy is one that emphasizes the dual importance of,
first, the personal touch when dealing with individual homeowners and, second,
the education of homeowner association board members on the importance of
preventive maintenance.

Service, Western Pacific Roofing, Bio-Tech Exterminators, James Lamb Company,
Long Electric, Valentine Construction and Regent Security.
